- Plan future journeys and sync with your vehicle*
- Connect your favorite music and lifestyle applications to your InControl account for use in vehicle.*
For vehicles with InControl Remote Premium, the following additional features are available:
- Check on your vehicle security status and lock/unlock your vehicle if required
- Cool or heat your vehicle to the desired temperature prior to your journey*
- Locate your vehicle in a crowded car park with 'beep and flash' functionality.

Download the Jaguar InControl Remote App and then log in using your Jaguar InControl username and password to connect to your vehicle. This App requires subscription to one of the following packages fitted to the vehicle:
- InControl Protect
- InControl Remote

Ever since the update to 2.18 my app hasnt been able to connect to my car consistently. My journeys aren't updating and it's showing my car is 100miles away from my current location.
The app is somewhat slow and the functionality is unnecessarily limited. This in itself would warrant maybe two or even three stars, but JLR seems to go out of their way to make it needlessly difficult for 3rd party developers to deliver a better user experience. I cannot speak for their motivations, but the real-life effect is outright hostile towards their own users, and for that I can only afford a single star.
My car keeps going into sleep mode and does no get up for app to work. I drive it everyday so it should not. Jaguar help is clueless. I pay for this service so it should work all the time.
Stopped working completely weeks ago. Very poor reliability.
So JLR has blocked access to their api again, so we all use wattcat as this jag memote app is shite, perhaps give us a working app with functionality so we don't have to use third party ones? This and the fact JLR has closed two local service centres near me, I have now taken the decision not to buy another! Up yours JLR! Customer lost! Cannot wait for the car to go in October, what's even better? The support email they tell you to message blocks messages, try it, JLR is absolute shite company,
Poor support and the app snoops at a lot of your phone contents, quite shocking. They have also pulled access to their API for 3rd parties where their apps were far superior. Buyer beware, consider replacing your iPace with a brand that knows what they're doing.
Ok, when it works, however, today 20/May/2024 it won't connect. Just says reconnecting, last updated 6 days ago. It makes it even annoying is Jaguars insistence in not allowing the WattCatt app, which tended to work better than Jaguars own app.
