The Pet Cube's auto start function is fine and amuses one of our cats. The APP, however, is utterly useless. It doesn't matter how good my internet connection is, the camera function is equally not functional for more than a minute, if that. Yet the built-in ads work fine anywhere and everywhere. I paid enough for the device that the basic functionality should work without your additional monitoring subscription.
If you pay you get awesome video. Expensive. If you don't, suddenly the video is as blurry as can be. Not worth it, better options out there.
Sometimes the alerts are a little bit too eager or a little bit more sparse than I would like, but the alerts have been a lot more frequent and more detailed and more helpful this week, to which makes it a lot easier to monitor my anxious pooch. I'd give it five stars if the audio consistently worked

recently updated app, doesn't allow live streaming any longer, tech support dismal, no answer for almost 24 hours. waiting to hear from Amazon about returning cameras.
Very slow app. Also, night vision on my original Petcube Bites stopped working a few months ago.
