Looks to be a good app, it's just not what Im looking for. This app is focused on egg tracking. I would need more capability to track breeding. I would also need egg color to be absolutely trackable. I'll circle back one day and check this app out again. I love little start up apps built by cool people. And this is indeed a well.built app 🩷
I've had it for a year and first they upgraded the app and had to transfer all my data over then this year they decided to charge for the app! If raising chickens wasn't expensive enough... Guess I'll go back to pen and paper 😂
free plan was removed, deleted account. absolutely ridiculous
Started 3 years ago with this app. After the first year, all my data was lost because they upgraded to a new version. Tonight, I went in to add my nightly count, and now all my data is gone again because they have decided to start charging. No warning. Will not continue to use an app that just up and decides to do new versions that delete all my data whenever they feel like it.
I had this app for a year. It was all great until the last update. Just today when I try to add my collected eggs this morning. It is asking me to subscribe. Well, thank you for the past year Flockstar. I'll have to find another free app. UPDATE: Thank you for the offer Admin. I'm all good and yes I did not receive any notice for any update. I might reconsider Flockstar again sometime, Thank you.
I was so excited to find an app that could keep track of my chickens individually. Only to open the app to find that I had to SUBSCRIBE to the app to use it!! Very disappointing.
So far so good for what it is! I really tried to justify in my mind a yearly subscription fee. The app is handy for keeping notes and tracking egg products and expenses and I could see the value in paying a one time fee for the app. Nothing against the app itself but I'm pretty much over subscription services in general. Honestly there are many other free apps that could do the same thing. After my yearly subscription is up I won't be renewing. Hopefully you guys will offer a free version soon!
