Medical ID allows creating medical profiles that are accessible from your lock screen. In case of emergency, profiles enable quick access to vital information such as your allergies, blood type, medical contacts, etc. that are essential to attending first responders, medics, or medical staff having to take action. You can also share your location with emergency contacts even when the app is closed (for up to 24 hours or until you stop sharing).
The display and access of your medical information from your lock screen are made possible via an accessibility service to enable and that is part of the core features of the app. Once enabled, the accessibility service displays a widget over your lock screen. This widget helps people who have disabilities, or first responders in case of emergency, to take action and access medical data.

Really good app and free! I absolutely love it! It stores all information required and more, allows to connect to contacts for emergency contacts. Also, it is fully accessible from the lock screen even when a code, fingerprint, or face id is needed, which isn't a feature on a lot of other apps I tried. Highly recommend 👌 Thank you.
This could have been a GREAT app but I uninstalled it for an alternative. My issue is with the UI. All your medical info should be shown right when the app is opened. But when this app opens it displays only your name, age, and if you're an organ donor. So 2 out of the 3 people I showed it to thought that was all the info provided. The user must know to tap once more (on your name) to see the actual medical details... Which is just too risky for emergency situations.
This was an excellent app. Especially for one like me who is constantly in and out of hospital. All my ailments and medications are recorded in this app and available to medical staff. However since I have changed my phone from a Samsung A20e to an A15 the whole set up has become more complicated and less confidential so I have uninstalled it.
Great way to keep medical history, medications, and emergency contact available.
Intrusive data collected with no means to have it deleted, which means the developer is keeping your data and doing what they wish with it, I have reported this app
I have seizures, and can't always communicate clearly before and after them. Being able to have a way for people to access my medical info without unlocking my phone is a huge help, and EMT's have told me how helpful it is for them.
I like the app
