Heart Rate Variability Logger lets you record, plot and export time, frequency and non-linear HRV Features (includes experience sampling, RR-interval correction, DFA alpha 1 for training intensity analysis with respect to the aerobic threshold (0.75) in real-time, comparison between recordings, activity monitoring & step counting, location tracking).
Heart Rate Variability Logger requires a Bluetooth Low Energy (also called Bluetooth Smart or BLE or 4.0) heart rate sensor (we recommend Polar H7 or H10)
Main features:
- Extracts, plots, stores and exports heart rate, rr-intervals, time and frequency domain heart rate variability features (AVNN, SDNN, rMSSD, pNN50, LF, HF, LF/HF, alpha 1 from DFA)
- Configurable time window for features computation (choose between 30 seconds, 1, 2 or 5 minutes)
- RR-intervals correction can be enabled to prevent ectopic beats or artifacts from affecting HRV features
- Filters data based on the selected threshold
- Data export using email or Dropbox

I would give zero stars if I could. Only updates alpha-1 no faster than 30 seconds making finding your LT1 and LT2 impossible. Use web based Runalyze instead.
Exactly the features and functionality I was looking for. Running the application on my Samsung S20+5G. Simple and precise user experience. Data analysis can extend to Kubios HRV via a file export (email or DropBox). I wish a consumer-level application like this had been available years ago. Quite thankful for its capability and quantified information that can be easily visualized (real-time too!) and analyzed.
I've been using HRV logger on my Iphone for a few years. I just downloaded the Android version, and it doesn't work the same. On the Android, the setting menu only has the computation and correction settings. On the Iphone there are more settings. I'm giving this five stars because it works great on my Iphone. I'm assuming that there is an explanation for why there are fewer settings onAndroid.
Bug report: after the latest update, the app takes about a minute to start (there's an empty screen for about a minute and then the UI appears).
Disappointed that the creator of the app now declares it's usefulness as dubious. A waste of money it turns out!

Works perfectly and gives me an accurate way to ensure I'm training below my aerobic threshold without a max HR estimate. Please add the threshold range feature I see on the iOS version, and thank you!
Resolved an issue with the export via file on certain android versions
