United StatesThis app allows you to easily and confidently practice the Multi Stage Fitness Test (MSFT), aka Bleep Test, for police officer recruits as defined by the College of Policing. All you need is
- a pair of running shoes
- a flat 15 meter running pitch
- this app
Note: this is NOT a GPS-enabled app; rather, it's a timer app that let's you easily conduct the bleep test.
Simple, non-intrusive and highly accurate. No ads, no tracking, no spl. permissions. It
- prompts you with beeps (or ringtones that you select)
- displays seconds to end-of-shuttle
- displays seconds to next level
- displays distance covered so far (incl. shuttles) and time elapsed
- offers an autostop feature
When you are done, the app will show you
- the Level you attained
- your estimated VO2_Max
... and will allow you to compare your result with the fitness standards for 13 specialist posts including firearms officers, dog handlers and police cyclists.
The app does NOT save results (it's available in the Pro version); instead, just take screenshots of the result screen to keep track of your progress.

This app, like all bleep test apps, misses 2 options that i think are important. 1. The ability to pause the test, 2. The ability to start the test at say 3.2, or 5.4. While not essential, these would by good to have andsave a great deal of time waiting for 3.2 or 5.4.
Bugs affect the timings between shuttles
Nice simple app. It does everything I need from it, and it works everytime.
Just got back from Bleep Test highly annoyed. Never had an issue before but app would get to level 2 and the bleeps disappeared only to reappear at 2.4. I ran it again in airplane mode another 3 times and same happened. Ruined my training and I need a reliable app. Big disappointment.
Why can't I select the level ? It just goes on and on. I'd like it to have the option to set the level like 5.4 and then stop automatically.
