I LOVE my Renpho Smart Bike! It has been fantastic for zone 2 training as described by Dr. Peter Attia. This app's "stable exercise" power course holds watts steady at 76% of FTP even as cadence fluctuates (which is great, because it means I can watch TV while I perform this exercise without compromising efficacy). Can we also have a power course to match Dr. Attia's suggested VO2 max training? Alternating 106% and 60% of FTP at 8 min intervals for 40 min with warm-up & cool-down? Thanks!
Google sync appears fixed but the app crashed mid session and lost all the activity. Arguably this makes it worse than before. 😰
Decent app but after using for over a year, I'd like to see some new training videos uploaded, particularly with instructors. I found those helped when I started out but I'd like some new options as doing the same over & over can get redundant. I love that the bike syncs to the videos & adjusts the settings accordingly. I just wish there were more trainer videos to choose from since the app is proprietary with the bike. To keep users engaged, regularly adding new training content would help.
Great app considering it's free however the available courses are just not long enough and little variety. Surely it would be easy for Renpho to add more content as not necessarily an app change but a low risk addition to actual content. Honestly, fantastic app but just lacking for those who are a reasonable level of fitness and want to ride longer. EDIT: Downgrading form 4 to 3 stars as synced to Google fit does not work at all, many other people have commented similar.Permissions set correctly
love everything this ap and bike does. I am curious if there will be new video footage and bike routes added :-) it would be great to ride courses like "the Pittsburgh Dirty Dozen.
Great app! East to use and it is free unlike peletron. If it supports sync the workout to Fitbit would be much better
Needs an update so Home & Discover page can rotate with iPad.
