And something is off with the City Council, a group of shadowy figures who nobody ever remembers seeing.
You're one of Godstone's top bakers, with a scrappy little business, a mysterious confectionary legacy from your late parents, and a former best friend who stole your recipes to make his own fame and fortune. You’ve got a lot to prove in this competition, and you’ll stop at nothing to reach the top of the profiterole tower.
But everything changes when the Queen Undying herself appears at your bakery. The queen has forced you to become her newest thrall, helpless to resist her eldritch power. And, for mysterious reasons, she's commanding you to make her your baking assistant!

A highly enjoyable game. It's a mix of great British bake off, magic powers, and a bit of necromancy. You're character becomes enslaved to an "evil being" while competing in a bakeoff and trying to find out what happened to your parents. The reviews are insane. It's at least 4 stars.
Both humorous and entertaining: the story and characters are incredibly well-written. This game has lots of fantasy elements like the Chupacabra, brownies, and even skeletons. The contests are fun and buying the ingredients is easy: the game will help you remember what you buy. The best part about the story is the humor: this had me laughing out loud a few times. Carb Freeons give extra money which is very helpful to win. The story has a satisfying conclusion. Highly recommend this story!
These guys really have a talent for comedy! I haven't laughed so hard in years! And I know a book like this is good if I'm already thinking about how things will go different on a reread!
I really wish that they would stop making these horribly childish stories. Thank god for Hosted Games, but it's so unfortunate that the corporate drones at CoG have literally zero artistic taste & never invest in the good stories. The most incredible, profound stories with layered worldbuilding & complex characters are all indie Hosted Games projects. All that CoG seems to put out anymore are these soulless, bubblegum pop, overproduced, plot heavy, rinse & repeat, stories for children.
