Gothic checkers

Old German draughts game, also known as Deutsche Dame or  Gothic checkers, probably derives from the 17th century. Some people think that it might have influenced the creation of Turkish Dama and Frisian Checkers. 

German Dama has similar draughts initial arragement as in Turkish checkers. The game rules differs from Turkish checkers.
