NO-CONTACT DELIVERY
Deliveries are now left at your door by default and you have the choice to select "Hand it to me" if you prefer. If a no-contact delivery is requested, the Dasher will know you want them to leave your food in a safe place and alert you when it's ready for pickup.

The app works well enough, but ever since they started paying delivery people a living wage they've removed the option to tip (in NYC, at least). You have to contact support to do so. Spiteful and petty.

Had issues creating an account. Kept circling around to the same screen. Very confusing.
You should have drivers pay attention to special requests. As well is making sure all items paid for are in the bag.
IF YOU'RE IN NYC: you might not be tipping your Dasher anymore without even realizing it: the app's been redesigned to essentially hide/eliminate the tipping option for NY users!!! NYC delivery workers have legally won a higher minimum wage, & DoorDash (owner of Caviar) is retaliating/trying to punish Dashers by making sure they no longer reliably receive tips. STAND WITH WORKERS! ORDER FROM THE RESTAURANT DIRECTLY! STOP FEEDING THIS PARASITIC LEECH THAT'S SUCKING RESTAURANTS & WORKERS DRY!
