Worst banking app I've ever used. Obviously optimised for iOS only and not for Android, to the point that there are not even options to activate and set PIN code on my new card on the app even though that's what's pushed by all the communications sent through (this is available on friend's iOS version). Also forces you to log out of the app to access a code to login online as no option when you're logged in. Why??
Fix the bloody app. It keeps crashing on android, especially the new Samsung S24 Ultra. I literally cannot open my app and generate security codes to complete international transfers because of this.

It's practical and effective
Signed up for an everyday global account online and had no response for 2 weeks. I verified my ID online. I called customer service who then tell me that I must attend a branch in person to verify my ID. So what was the point of online verification?? Why no email to notify me of this?! I live very far from a branch. I'm moving from Australia to Scotland and need to transfer a very large sum of money as I've recently sold my property -The fact that HSBC has been so incompetent has ruined my trust
