You can't add your physical books to the app, they expect you to pay $30 to include the phb. I was unable to recreate my table top character because his subrace (forest gnome) requires the phb. I will not pay $30 to use a book I already paid for. I guess this could be a good app if you play all digital, but if you invested in physical book and/or your dm hasn't invested in digital PDFs it's worthless.
Lowered my review because when I make updates to my character sheet the app does NOT show those updates anymore. It's one of the core reasons to have the app and it's not functioning at all.

It's not the best app and the way the company is going, they've really lost a LOT of community faith the last few years. It seems like they've stopped adding features to the app, so it feels barely functional and more or a "when your main device updates during the game" kind of usage.
great service, but anything other than the base roles and classes is paid.
DND, it's dynamite
Need to buy other books to play back stories that are basic
• Artificer Infusions can be managed natively in the app
• Proficiency Bonus can be found in Proficiencies and Languages section
• Minor bug fixes and improvements
