I adore Curiosity Stream. The diversity of documentaries is wonderful! I really like the way certain documentaries are grouped into collections by content. The price is easily the best priced streaming service out there. All that to say, the app is not the most user friendly. It crashes constantly and the video can be really rough. Its not uncommon for a scene to freeze in the background and have the show continue in a smaller "screen" over the freeze. Also, the captioning content is abysmal.
Used to be excellent. Now, absolutely rubbish. The app userface is appallingly bad, not user friendly at all, it's now become so frustrating that I've unsubscribed.
Can't recast a show I watched already. This is supposed to be a premium app and I repeat you can't rewatch/cast a movie.
Just fun. Definitely would recommend.

Curiosity Stream is an actual scam. Avoid at all costs. I signed up for NEBULA 2yrs ago to support YouTubers. I tried the content on Curiosity Stream and it's all dry, boring stuff. I forgot to unsubscribe so was billed for another year, $20 (2x the year before). But then I 100% unsubscribed, ZERO DOUBT. Well in 2024 I'VE BEEN CHARGED AGAIN. They have ignored my emails so I've now charged it back through Visa. It's very sad that ONE YouTuber sponsor actually seemed ok, but no, it's another scam.
Lots of poorly made documentaries. Quantity over quality even though the quantity is also small.
