CLZ Scanner is a barcode scanner app for use with the Connect web-based software and the Collector desktop software. In short, you can use CLZ Scanner to scan barcodes with your phone and instantly send the scanned barcodes to the Add by Barcode tab of your Connect or Collector software on your computer.
The app is easy to set up and I was scanning books within a few minutes. I'm using it to slowly catalog my collection of graphic novels. Even if the ISBN isn't recognized you can also search by title and author to add the book. After an update I had an issue of the app not scanning but the support team reached out quickly and got the issue resolved.
This app has made cataloging my massive movie library much easier.
You should do a toy database I'm subscribed to your games I would totally subscribe to that if you did a toy one
I have been using this to catalogue our CD Collection at Great Southern FM 100.9 in Albany Western Australia. I have over 4000 to enter. Just started using the Scanner more. The advantage with the Scaner over the Catalogue Number and Artists and Title Function is that you just get the exact one instead of having to choose. You can scan more than one to your list and then add them one by one. I use it for personal use as well. The Music Connect Programme is affordable for non profit organisation
The latest addition of the CLZ Scanner follows in footsteps of previously installed CLZ Apps I am in no way techno-savvy,and when changes occur,I feel they will only make things more complicated, which is why I never installed CLZ Berry...to complicated. I decided, in a daring moment, to give installing CLZ Scanner a shot. Miraculously, it went very well. After following the detailed steps to install I could only say "That's all?". Done and using in less than 5 minutes. Thank you CLZ team.
The scanner was easy to install and worked flawlessly when adding movies to my web-based Connect software! Scanned barcodes were automatically added in milliseconds to the web-based software!
For this update, we have improved the camera barcode scanner, to make better use of the power of today’s devices, both in terms of camera resolution and computing power.
The scanning should now be faster, that is, it should be quicker in picking up the barcode from the camera image. The difference is most noticeable when scanning the longer 12+2 and 12+5 digit barcode found on today's comic books.
