SelfLearn

SelfLearn is an android mobile application designed to learn about daily objects by simply detecting them using the phone's camera. It's primarily intended for children who are curious about what is in front of them. In addition, the app provides the list of items that are related to the captured photo. It uses the device camera to capture the photo and device internet connection to send captured photo to external service for getting information. 

If the voice is enabled in settings, a small animated character appears in the screen and speaks out the caption for captured image in the preferred language. The supported languages includes English-US, English-UK, French, German, Italian, Korean, Japanese and Chinese.
