It works. Tried it twice. Not all data migrated successfully (about 90% I guess) but not bad, considering I don't have any alternatives at that time.

Did not work for me, would not read the back up files
This really works... I had some difficulties while following the procedure....I kept missing some steps but the Support team was amazing walking me through, reviewing my logs and proposing solutions and even following up to see if they worked. Thank you so much for your patience and great support.... and great App.
21/01/20 Like everyone said, the process isn't easy and I didn't expect it to be. But through every hassle, I got excellent support. I ran the app just today, and WhatsApp is working fine on my android, where over 70000 of my 74000 odd messages were restored, along with media and all. Thanks to Nicola and his team for the timely support I received, even for issues that went beyond the app's functionality. You're doing a great job...
