How to use Handcent Anywhere:
On your cellphone: slide to the right to open the navigation drawer, tab Handcent Anywhere. In it, turn on Handcent Anywhere, give your cellphone a name.(you can use multiple cellphones, but only one device can be used at a time) This will be the ID when you try to connect on the web. (When you have more than one cellphones(numbers), each one should have a unique name)
On your android device(tablet or another Android phone):
Open the Handcent Anywhere on your Android device, Make sure the Handcent Anywhere is enabled in your cellphone, select the phone you want to use on the web. Now you can start texting. Also, don’t forget to upload your contacts to our server, otherwise all your contacts will be shown in number format.
Handcent Anywhere is also available on web(aw.handcent.com available on any computer), and iPad/iPhone.

Does not notify, cannot enable notifications for this system app in settings, option greyed out, app will not make system request even though it has a big TEST button.
I had been using this great app for a long time, but recently had a short life as an Apple fanboy ..switched back to android and was glad to find my old favorite still available! Glad to see the security issue resolved, which is very important these days! Love the themes and customization features..Great messaging app!
It works! I use it and I like it.
Unable to login to the app, the log in button doesn't seem to work. No scan code available either. Reinstalled same thing. Web page version working
When it works it works well, but unfortunately on tablets it has a tendency of shutting down by itself. The app may be running but it's disconnected it needs to be reconnected to get any messages, so it doesn't give you any indication of notification.
I am still new to this. Seems a possible alternative to Google Messages for Web - at least I hope so. Not sure if it costs $ and I am in a free, trial phase. So far not as stable as Messages For Web. Sometimes cannot seem to sync with the phone. I have hopes for this and the associated Messaging app - which is at least average, if not better.
Love this app. Every phone iv has always download it. Can do amazing thing and make everyone's sms different. Just try it.
