I believe it's a great app. Yet, for some reason, whenever I try to use Microsoft's Neural Voices, the app keeps crashing for an unknown reason. I'm afraid I won't be purchasing it until I am sure I will get to use it with no problems. It's a pity since I was enjoying it so far... These are the steps I took: 1. Open the app. 2. Link Azure API & region. 3. Open a pdf I imported, which is written in Spanish. 4. Select "config ⚙️" & click "Voice" 5. Screen flickers & App crashes. +More problems.
2 features would save a lot of headaches: 1) Set default voice. I have to reset the voice I use every time because it always reverts to the same default voice when switching to a new article. It's tedious. 2) Loop feature For my purposes, it would help a lot. Also generally I would say the voices are somewhat robotic and bland, given the current state of AI I think the standard should be that they sound more expressive. Other than that, it's a great app.
Excellent TTS app, there's some minor navigation issues when selecting a single voice rather than random, but good all the same. I would love to see the ability to use something like an Eleven Labs API to deliver beautiful AI voices and understanding of inflection and context.
The best one so far. Keep up the updates and it will be a huge success!
Generally very good; free version obviously suffers from the restriction on files but considering the app has a very affordable 1 time purchase it's truly worth it. They might not have the moost advanced voices but they are consistent and good enough!
wish the render worked with internal engines but otherwise, great replacement for what i was using before
