Anything useful is behind a paywall
Along the lines of the other reviews. It's frustrating that there is an initial cost, and then when you open the app, there's a memmo telling you to subscribe at extra cost. The app itself is pretty decent and easy to navigate. But the subscription fee annoys me. I can understand the reasoning that's provided for the fee , but surely a free download, and then a 99p would be less of kick to the old chap ?
The idea of purchasing the app and then having to pay a subscription is a little poor. The pay wall is very irritating and will prevent you doing a lot of things in the app. Eg Affray is tucked behind the wall and unviewable without further payment. The app description makes it sound like you can still view the non-updated offence but this isn't the case.
Poor money grab... so you purchase the app, you then have to pay an additional monthly subscription to actually view recently updated offences.. seriously, this is the bare minimum the app should provide given the initial cost. I'll accept paying for certain enhance features but to have to pay to see updated legislation is poor at best.
Okay, I paid for the app and since the update wants more money as a subscription. Not worth it now.
Used this app for a few years and very rarely had an issue, now unfortunately it doesn't load at all and doesn't move past the screen advising to contact via X & Facebook, tried clearing data, cache and even deleting and installing the app again, very frustrating
The app initially was great and great to search when looking for points to prove. however, when something is updated for example if there is an update on wording etc for assaults then you lose the option to view it unless you pay the monthly subscription.
