This dictionary has almost all of the words I search for, and I look up a lot of words. I started using in when my sociology professor recommended it.
This is a great product, content wise. The app is horrible! It's absolutely atrocious how the keyboard always disappears after you type in 2 or 3 characters, as if only the most junior and incompetent app developers work at Merriam-Webster. It's been this way for years. My patience finally came to an end, hence this review. Isn't Merriam-Webster ashamed? 5★for content, 1★for app functionality.
Combine the search bar and the history ("Recent") section please. The current history feature being buried is unusual, like the corporation that owns the app has not ever used the app itself. App does not have the ability to accurately guess misspellings. App is not tuned for practical usage and is missing obvious features like basic etymology. A basic Back feature is another minimal expectation all users have for the app, but the company refuses to add it.
I don't see any difference between two of your apps, they seem pretty the same.
It is very easy to use and informative. Great Dictionary.
The app is great except when you open it, you have to click twice in the search field because it changes focus to another part of the screen. It never used to do that. Before you could open the app and just start typing the word you where searching for.
Searched for 'exonym' and it told me 'word not found'. Wow, this is why people use search engines for their dictionaries.
