Tante Marie Recipe Book

This app is exclusively available to graduates of the internationally acclaimed Tante Marie Culinary Academy, who will know that the training they receive at Tante Marie sets them up for an exciting career in food. 

With Tante Marie alumni running successful food businesses and enjoying exciting careers around the world, we created this app to ensure that Tante Marie is right there, by their side, supporting them at every stage of their journey. 

By completing a course at Tante Marie, our alumni are eligible for exclusive access to this app which enables them to access their relevant recipes and learning resources from their mobile devices, anywhere in the world. 

Managed in house by the Tante Marie team, our recipes files are constantly updated and tweaked. Alumni will always receive the most up to date version of the recipes they used during their course and when we add new recipes into the folder, they will gain access to those recipes too. 

App Functionality:

-	Offline access: 

The Tante Marie alumni app has offline functionality, meaning you can access your recipes from the yacht you are working on in the Caribbean, from the African Safari Lodge, or from your basement kitchen – all of which have internet accessibility ratings of zero. Next time you are connected and open the app, it will automatically update the content.

-	Advanced search:

If you have a glut of courgettes or happy hens laying more eggs than you know what to do with, you can search your entire recipe database by recipe title, by ingredient or even by key words appearing in the method. 

-	In-recipe switching:

If you come across an ingredient which is a recipe in its own right, such as a certain quantity of Crème Anglaise required for a Bavarois, just touch the ingredient to automatically view that recipe, then easily return to the original recipe with another touch.

-	Favourite recipes:

We all have favourite recipes which we return to time and time again. The ‘Favourite’ function allows you to save your favourite recipes and easily return to them in the future.

The future:

This is all just the beginning. We have exciting plans for the future of the app, which we hope will include building photographs and note taking into the app, and much more!
