I had my food stolen and when I reached out to customer service for a refund they said they would have a specialist get back to me. I got the follow up email saying "That sucks it happened, but no refund."
I have been using doordash for years and never had a problem until recently, when I was issued a refund but never received the refund. Usually I wouldn't complain but it's around a 15 dollar refund. So probably going to cancel dash pass and stop using doordash
Horrible service. Do yourself a favor and use Ubereats or Grubhub. The service used to be great but now it sucks. There are two huge problems. They provide you with an area to write down delivery instructions. However, none of the dashers read it. Next, the app does not make any notification sound when a dasher texts you. Therefore, after placing an order, you have to babysit the app because you have to visually wait for texts and re-explain how to get to your home. Annoying AF.

Doordash is an out and out scam, they will do something shady like overcharging you or changing the tip you put in or having different stores charge different amounts for arbitrary reasons, then when you call them out for it you will be put through to incompetent customer service who will lie to you multiple times in order to get you to go away even if you are right on every level and have receipts. On one order I was lied to four separate times promise to refund that I never received, use Uber.
