Forces you to update. If none of my banks' apps force me to update on the spot, and can give a week or two grace period, Pearler can do the same. App otherwise barely serviceable. Website UX much better for all functions.
Great source of information & education
Love the educational information and comparison graphs when looking at the ETFs
The way you display information is great, very easy to understand but please improve your API and responsiveness within the app. It takes years for anything to load and its so delayed when you click things that I don't even know if it's worked. Eg. I click to favourite a stock, nothing happens so I click again. Message comes up to say favourited and then a second later it's unfavourited... there are a couple other things that are very slow as well
I get it. It's a finance app. It needs to be secure. I understand 2FA is important for security. However, when my password autofills, then 2FA sends me a text, and none of that is behind security aside from my lock screen, why can't the app keep me signed in behind a fingerprint? Every time I close the app, it logs me out automatically. 3 stars until it's fixed.
Pretty poor experience and high fee, the app is terrible, information is covered by chat icon, cannot select to view transaction, log you out when you click last page. Terrible UI/UX, slow withdraw time, I requested to exchange USD to AUD which took 5 days including weekend, and then another 4 days for AUD transfer to bank......$6.5 fee per trade, will be switching to revolut which is 0.25% per trade and app is so much better! Only gave 2 stars because support is good.
Update on first review: I have a couple thousand dollars worth of shares that I have just sold and the cash is not appearing in my account, market still open and j am ready to buy more shares but the Pearler system has somehow lost more than $15k of mine today. Unfortunately nobody can help until Monday so I wait. App was always decent but the latest update no longer shows the purchase and current price of US shares in USD, this is key information when tracking US shares.
