They should scrap the whole project and start over. Facebook spends way too much time running in the background doing god knows what, despite having my background app refresh toggled off. It contacts hundreds of domains and trackers a week no matter how strict you think your privacy settings are. Facebook needs to chill out on the ads & AI. Just go back to a simple platform.

My wife’s Facebook account was hacked by crypto scammers. The scammers blocked me and facebook has made it impossible to prove that the account belongs to my wife. We’ve submitted her ID three times with no response. Followed the prompts on the facebook.com/hacked and absolutely nothing has been done to resolve this issue in the THREE WEEKS it has been going on.

Facebook is really overlooked but it’s got the best dating app. It’s totally free, you see all your likes, you have all dating preferences such as smoking drinking religious etc, and the number of right swipes you get seem tied to a ratio rather than a static number. I haven’t had any success with it, I’m just speaking purely from mechanics alone. I wish more people from other apps looking for something serious would use it

The user has little control and little recourse. The admins change basic features all the time - move them or hide them. If there were a better option I'd take it. Stuck with it to keep on touch with family and friends. Now in 2024 the search function has been unexpectedly superseded by AI and wants to search everywhere rather than stay within FB - the most unsettling development to date.
