Latest update for WhatsApp results in getting the notification sound or vibration while chat remains archived. Needs to be an option to have no notification sound when a message is received in archive. New bug from latest update.

I been using WhatsApp for more than 10 years and I just changed my phone number and is not sending me the code that I need to enter my conversations again ! I need this ! Some help please ! I’ll rate up the review then !

I guess meta doesn’t want me to use WhatsApp. Been trying to figure out the issue but the fixes to this are dumb, insane and time wasters. I will keep using other apps. Meta as a company is getting so dumb
