Jingle Box is a soundboard app for audio professionals, DJs, podcasters. It can be used to quickly replay sound effects or clips during live broadcasts, in theaters etc. with a touch of your finger. Control playback either by using your keyboard, or with your mouse/trackpad. Organize your sounds into sets, color-code them, set In and Out cues, Fade In and Out durations, volume level. There are four additional playback options that can be used: Loop, Solo, No-Pause and Play While Pressed. Stream audio to other devices with AirPlay. If you like Jingle Box, please leave your review here.
Just what I was looking for.
This app is great. Good user experience and design. It works like you expect and want it to. Simple to use with good feature, which are well thought out. I have been looking for something like this and I am happy to pay for this app to support the development. I much prefer upfront costs and the price to me is reasonable. I have some suggestions for the developer. Take it or leave it. I am working on building scales with sounds files, so these suggestions would benefit how i intend to use this app(more for music making then effects). However, I don’t think Jingle Box was intended for this. Anyways here are my suggestions- Two finger click for jumping into the editing options. Check box(in sound file) for Sustaining the sound of a key when pressed repeatedly. Edit mode tool tip while hovering over check boxes (Loop - Solo - Don’t Pause - Play While Pressed) to explain what they do. "Edit all” sound clips in set (check box). Move clip between others and slide others over. (Right now you can only move clips into a vacant spot. I have all the spots filled). Duplicate Set. Copy sound to new key. A way to switch quickly between sets. Possibly spacebar or arrow keys. Lastly, a metronome feature that plays keys in order could make this app more instrumental, but I get it that this app is not intended for these purposes. Thanks
