Activating it is super simple with just a few taps in the Settings app (full walkthrough in-app), and then you're good to go. Amplosion will automatically redirect AMP links you encounter, and you can even permit certain websites to continue to display AMP by adding them to the Allowlist. Amplosion shows how many times it has activated with a beautiful flip counter at the top of the app so you can see how many times it's saved the day. There's also a myriad of beautiful app icons to choose from. It's completely open source, so with this transparency you can verify everything about the extension. Awesome home screen widgets are included as well, featuring the flip counter so you can see how many times Amplosion has activated right from your home screen. As a bonus, it features a lovable digital dog that lives in the app named Lord Waffles, and a beautiful story about him and his turtle friend Rascal. There's also a widget for Lord Waffles!

This is the most simple but powerful & useful things I’ve “invested” in. Haven’t had to deal with amp links for the last like, year. Most apps or extensions work but require users to check/open them constantly to make sure it’s working, are confusing and advertise many functions but do them all at a subpar level.. or just simply half-work. Amp does exactly what it promises to do, saves me so much timeeee dealing with each individual amp link and so worth the small price.

Got this extension last month because I LOATH amp. It worked great at first but I started noticing the other day that I am getting amp webpages again. Not sure what changed, but it seems worthless at the moment.

I clicked on the extension only to realize that I did not need to use said app. I deleted it. From the reviews I gather it is extremely popular. Just not for me. If I could get a refund I would appreciate it! I literally deleted within an hour of getting the app, after realizing I wouldn't use it. Thank you!!

This app has a mascot named Lord Waffles, which was all I needed to know. But if you still have doubts, know that it also does something I don’t understand that hurts Google’s revenue. $2 to support an indie developer and fight an evil mega corp? Sign me right up.
