Missing features
Missing a local files option but has Apple Music tab that is useless.

I have been a regular and enthusiastic member of the Pacemaker community for a year and a half. Here’s my honest review: Pros: - Fun - Good AI mixing tech and user controls are decent - Small but friendly and supportive active community Cons: - The $16.99 a month subscription fee to be a premium member (needed to do anything useful with the app) is ridiculously high. - I would rate the catalogue of music available from Spotify to use in Pacemaker as a 3/10 or less because on average out of 10 tracks I can expect maybe one or two to actually be available to use. - My biggest peeve: Available tracks come and go meaning that even mixes that I have made don’t keep all of their tracks. At this time I have published 22 mixes, and not a single one has all of the original tracks available anymore…many missing lots of songs. When the mix gets to the songs that isn’t covered anymore, it just skips past it. This makes the mixes total crap to listen to at that point. Super annoying. - Subscription fee is way to high for an app that has the above problems.

None of my songs are available on Spotify or Apple Music… Spotify pulled access and some stupid DRM protection error prevents Apple Music songs from working either. Enable YouTube mixing, or just accept defeat. RIP

Yep. Still horrible. Cant listen to other people’s mixes to see if it’s even worth it without paying up 4.99 weekly. Guess I’ll check on it again in a year or 2🫡

I used to fondly enjoy playing around with this app and becoming a DJ. Now it’s hands down one of the buggiest and unusable apps, even with premium. It freezes up every other second, making the interface insanely choppy and not fun to use. I cant even transition songs the way I want because this app does not work.

I had this app when it first hit the market a couple years back. This was my go to app. before you only had to pay one price to receive all effects. Since then you’ve lost more then half your musical catalogue , you can’t use the app entirely without a subscription. before you could at least dj your own music library not anymore. this five dollars a week is Ridiculous especially since you no longer offer the features that made this app great. “djay” app which is considered the best professional deejay app on the market is cheaper then this just saying. I don’t understand why iPad version isn’t as good as the phone version
