Description
Outdoors people need to keep track of daylight. Pilots need to know when to turn on lights and log night flying.

Civil Twilight for Watch finds your location, and calculates the sun position without going out on the internet like the other apps. Anywhere in the world! In your plane, on your boat, out on a hike! This is self-contained on the Watch and doesn't need the phone nearby either! Accurate to about a minute through the year 2050. For many more features, including sun rise and set times for other dates and places, check out our iOS app "Civil Twilight Calculator" on the App Store.

Complications fully supported. There is now a Setting View to select which time to display in complications. Swipe left to change this Setting. As space inside different complications allows, some complications have both rise and set times and even a sun arc for daylight! Small complications allow a single user-selected time, like "C up arrow" for next Civil Sun Rise.

This App is for Apple Watch Series 3 and later!

Works very well

I set it in the center of my Ultra 2 watch and now have sunrise and sunset for standard, civil and nautical all displayed in the center, which very useful as a pilot. Very useful app and WELL worth the small price.

Works well

The app is great, it does exactly what it claims! The app uses your Apple Watch GPS to calculate the various sunrise/sunset times. I’d give it 5 stars if I could place the times in the small round complication, heck even just one time would be beneficial and let me choose which. I’ll bump it to 4 stars if you change the small complication icon that’s displayed to something more professional looking that will blend into the watch face. I use the modular face and dedicate the large complication to another more vital app. Keep up the good work and thank you for supporting aviation (and others).

I love a good food fight

I needed an easy source for these times out in the field. I looked at the screen shots. This does exactly what I need, so I sprang for the 99 cents. It works perfectly as advertised. Just run the phone app first to enable location permissions.

Can't work as written

The developer and I have had a long discussion via the reviews in the watch store, and the developer refuses to even acknowledge that there is a problem. I've given the app the necessary permissions for GPS and the GPS still doesn't work. And without the GPS, this app can't work - by the developers own admission. The developers only response is that my review is unreasonable. But is it unreasonable to expect an app that you paid for to work? The app doesn't work; and it's never going to work until the developer fixes the permissions problem. But the developer is convinced there is nothing wrong, so that is never going to happen. Don't waste your money, there are other apps available for Civil Twilight times that actually work.
