Latest updates are degrading this app
I use the app with a pair of WH1000XM4 heaphones on both my iPhone and iPad. They pair with the devices on their own just fine, but the app does not automatically connect to the headphones, and will disconnect one of the devices. The remedy is to start and stop the app multiple times until it connects. Most recently, the automatic data backup and synchronization has stopped working, even though it is switched on in the app. The headphones are excellent, but the app is a severe disappointment.

Sad that such a great set of headphones have such terrible support from one of the worst apps I’ve ever tried to use. After 30 minutes of just chasing my tail trying to get my headphones linked I gave just gave up. It would find them, and then just recycle me back to the page I was just on without actually registering them. My phone connects to them fine in the Bluetooth settings, but the app is worthless. Garbage, Sony!

Read their privacy policy, it's terrifying. They know what content you are listening to, what video you are watching, when you paused it, the timestamps and other sensitive data.. Without the app the headphones are half useless as you can't use gestures or anything

Linkbuds S having issue after almost 1 year battery of left bud drain faster than right bud. Fix this issue, when they make new earbuds, always have the same issue, BATTERY LIFE. Please when are you going to make something good. People want this issue be fix years ago and there no improvement. Right now This are the best in design, comfortable and high quality of sound but the issue still here. Fix the freaking app, BATTERY LIFE and better products. I’m really disappointed.

Forces you to have location on to track where you listen to you headphones at for “analytical reasons” at all times. Insanely long set up to get as much information as possible from you. They force you to send them selfies of you wearing the headphones to even use the app. Absolutely insane.

I’m fed up with these companies that charge hundreds of dollars for simple products like headphones, wall of critical features in order to force you to use an application that harvests all your private user data. You either give me the product for free and get the user data or I pay for it and you get no user data.

Ever since the last update of the app, my earbuds still connect to my phone just fine, but they no longer connect to the app no matter how many troubleshooting tips I try. The app is utter garbage now. Now I can fix the ambient sounds because I had it changed in the app before the update. Now I’m stuck listening to everything on top of my music that’s going on around me instead of soundproofing like a decent pair of earbuds is supposed to. So sick of technology always changing when things work just fine. Not everyone wants complicated equipment! The only reason I bought these stupid earbuds is because it was one of the few I could find that still had a physical button! The touch ones are junk and too hard to control!
