I saw an app for the remote and downloaded it thinking that it would be a pain in the butt, probably wouldn’t work, and I would probably end up deleting it. Literally two clicks later it was controlling my television. Easiest app with zero integration issues. You need it ! I am always searching for the remote, my phone is ringing and I need to mute the TV. This app is everything

Aside from the free trial (which renews at $2.99/month!?!) this app is useless. There is no functionality that it provides without pay. And $25 for a lifetime subscription is more than double what I can get a physical remote for. Good luck.

If you have a tv that is running off of cable or wired connection this won’t work. Only if it is running off WiFi. I bought this to use in hotels where the remotes are often lacking. But the tvs are mostly all hardwired into cable not streaming over the internet. So this is basically a brick.
