Borderline worthless app
1. Can’t get digital boarding passes. 2. Attempts at editing seats fails every time. 3. Processing payments to check bags fails consistently. You can, eventually, check in and get notifications about your flight, but that’s about it. They seem to have spent more time and effort on the animated gif on the loading screen than they did on the actual structural foundation of the app/website. Even the kiosks at the airport take a ridiculous amount of time to process any query.

This app is the most frustrating thing to deal with. Everything takes forever to load and nothing is straightforward. Getting my boarding passes actually in my apple wallet was unnecessarily difficult and time consuming.

Bidding for seats is a horrible practice and I will NEVER fly this airline again because of it. Especially when booking 10 months ahead just waiting to get rejected. Completely asinine.

Firstly, the app is slooooow. Every step takes a minute or more to process. Secondly, adding bags is a nightmare. When we attempted to pay, the app charged us but said the attempt was unsuccessful. This happened three times with three different cards. However, each attempt was approved by the credit card companies. I will have to get these charges reversed. Hopefully the airport agent will be able to do it.

I keep getting an error regarding my password/email/id when I try to login but I can login with the same information on the website.

I tried multiples times to create an account and it is erroring out. No email to verify, error message reads “We are unable to connect to WestJet service at this time. Please check your connection or try again later.” Dont know if I should bother trying again later, seems buggy I was able to pull up my reservation on the app would like to save it on my account, but cannot set up an account
