This app shows over 5,650 United States Forest Service (USFS) and Bureau of Land Management (BLM) campgrounds throughout the USA. These types of campgrounds tend to be low cost or free. Each location displays the campground name, which agency administers it (BLM or USFS), the local weather, elevation, Internet images and searches of the campground, Flickr geotag search, and more. Easily locate the campgrounds nearest you. Send location data directly to our Road Trip Planner app. Import routes from GPX files. This makes it much easier to find locations along your route. - No subscription fees; just a one-time purchase. - Show a route between your location and the campground. - Map layers include Apple, Google, and Open Street Maps. - No Internet connection required to view campground locations and info. - View Flickr photos of each location (if they exist). - View current weather of each location.
Very useful app
This app is easy to use, and doesn’t collect any of your personal information.
Not so great
The weather info does not display, just says 502 Bad Gateway. Also it would be nice if the campground information contained the open dates. Still have to go to the BLM site for that. Last issue is that the camp locations often say “Disbursed Camping” when they are actual campsites is not disbursed per the BLM site. It does have great content, shows all the BLM and USNF sites
Time
Not totally user friendly. Need more time to acquaint myself with this app.
Hack-Job of an app
It’s quite rough around the edges; seems like some vlookup of a BLM csv file interposed with map. Not worth the $1 by a gsx mile — or a crows path!
This is it!
If you prefer more remote camping, if you’d like to find hiking and biking trails, if you just want to bum around the National Forest / BLM scene, this is your App.
Must have
If you camp in any USFS land, this is a must have. Not only shows you detailed locations of campgrounds but also gives elevation and links to Dark Sky - highly accurate weather application.
I depend on this!
A neighboring camper at Texas Caprock canyons park suggested this app and l have used it since then for every outdoor adventure around the USA. (20 states in 2021). A great help n with so many locations/campsites (many FREE or under ten dollars a nite) it is fun just to browse around the country from my sofa.

- Database updates and corrections. - Modifications to the weather functionality - DarkSky weather was purchased by Apple so had to remove it from the app. - Minor bug fixes and app enhancements.
