I booked a flight and purchased change anytime option due to my work schedule. It was supposed to be from April 18 - April 21 I booked the flight then AFTER I payed for it they switched my flight to April 24 - May 2 making my flight useless. No worries I selected the option to change any time with no additional fees so we are all good right? WRONG! I submitted change request only to be called while I was driving by a representative who wanted another $77.58. Okay I guess i’ll just bite the bullet and pay it. I ask if I can call back when I am not driving to provide the CC number when I arrive back to my hotel I call eDreams back and they told me that the case has been closed and I needed to wait another 3-5 days to have it changed (my flight was in two days) so I just canceled my entire flight and went through the flight company directly paying an additional $165 on top of the $147 i’ve already payed to eDreams. Well good thing I purchased the cancellation protection. Again, they informed me that I would not be getting a full refund but $77 (80% ticket cost) so now I am out all of this money for what? Nothing. Rude customer service reps who have zero idea what is going on. But believe it or not this isn't a one off error, I also booked a hotel through them for another $145 and again while booking THEY CHANGED MY CHECK IN DATES! Rinse and repeat the same situation only to be out more money. I’ve in total lost close to $300 just by using eDreams. If all of that wasn't bad enough to put the final nail in the coffin they SIGNED ME UP FOR THEIR EDREAMS PRIME SUBSCRIPTION. This has to be a fake company that survives off of scams and ripping people off.
