Used to love the app scientific and engineering conversions. The ads were annoying but it wasn’t good enough to pay for a subscription when I only use the app a couple times a month. The straw that broke the camels back was when the developer started restricting common units of measurement. Makes the app unusable for me now without paying for a subscription.
United StatesGreat Conversion App, but subscription required now??
I purchased this app several years ago and absolutely love it. It does all of my conversions for work and I never have to jump on Google. I opened the app yesterday to make some conversions, and over half of the conversions are locked out. I already paid years ago and had full functionality for ALL conversions. Nothing was ever locked out. Now you want me to pay a yearly subscription on top of what I already purchased. Horrible business model and horrible to your long time customers. If I absolutely have to purchase an app to do my conversions, it will be another app. I will not purchase from this company again.

This app used to be great. I’m sure it still is under the ads. I recently opened it again and I could not even complete a single conversion without a full screen video after every couple keypresses. Four ads for a single conversion. I’d certainly consider purchasing, except the tracking on this app is overly intrusive. There’s no need for ID’d tracking on a calculator. Anonymous usage stats maybe, but no more.

An excellent app with exception of last update with ads every few clicks you use the calculator. Now it time to delete and find another one. It was nice I used it for many many years.
