EasyTag-Note is an easy way to make notes on the performance-defining events of a game or practice as it unfolds - simply tap buttons to describe the KPI (key performance indicators) of your activity. You add the buttons that you need and aren’t bound by someone else’s predefined ideas of what is important to your team. Frequency statistics are displayed and data can be exported for number crunching. The time and duration of each note is recorded, allowing events to be imported into video analysis software from where valuable video coaching resources can be created. EasyTag-Note works as a standalone app but is also designed to integrate with Dartfish software. Use its Quick Import function to match tagged events to the corresponding moment on video. Now you can use Dartfish for editing, analysis and video presentations to your team. EasyTag-Note Features: • Create custom panels or easily modify the provided templates • Make your panel unique – you decide what’s important. • Time stamping of fixed or open duration periods of activity • Pre-roll setting allows you to assess an event before deciding to tag it • Mark favourite events for later review. • Export data (CSV file) via email • Statistics display and bar graph representation of data • Dartfish Quick Import easily integrates your notational analysis with video. Dartfish EasyTag-Note is an iOS 10 compatible update of our Easytag app and the little brother of Dartfish Note. No myDartfish subscription is required but it has more limited functionality than both these apps. About us: Dartfish has a pedigree in video analysis going back to 1998. We are proud to serve teams, federations and gold medallists from all round the world.
Decent at what it is, but WTH?
The app is fine & simple to use, but whoever thought it was a great idea to have each tap on the button make a sound really doesn’t understand their audience. The tablet sits next to my camera as I record sporting events, so every time I tag something I get nice audio reminder for the remainder of the footage existence. At least add the option to disable that or maybe respect the device volume settings??? Turn sound off on tablet, but the clicks continue to chime… Period support… I understand that this is a subset of full app, but having a button to start “Period 1” makes one wonder how one starts “Period 2”… It really is a simple app and could’ve knocked it out of the park, but instead it just looks half thought through and half-baked PS: found a way to turn sound off, system sound needs to be off instead of audio sound being turned off, really goofy option on an iPad!
Hoping periods will allow for more is update soon?
A couple of updates ago Dartfish added periods which looks to be a great addition. I still have to take screen shots to “mark stats for periods” and hoping soon I will be able to make a “new period”. For instance I presently use dartfish for tennis and marking/counting specific shots and want to separate by “sets” and possibly even games at some point to illustrate the differences in “counts” (actions performed) overall. Thanks!
Unable to creat a game
I am unable to create a game. Purchase of this program is a waste of money. Help menu does not help. I receive an error connection message.
Great for Teaching
Great app to use in class. I set up many grids for assessments for students and for those who are sitting out to stay active on the sidelines. Great for coaching to keep track of statistics.
Great app
I tag all my games with it Must have app
Great app for stats
Quickly create customized statistics!
Useful app!
Useful for recording time stamps for any series of events, sporting or not. You can customize the buttons, and then it records when each button is pressed, the name if the button that was pressed, and how long until the next button is pressed. This data can be exported to a csv file and emailed or saved. There is an option to make categories of buttons, but the category info doesn't appear to be exported to the csv file, so is of limited utility for me. But the counts for each category do show up in the app, if you want to record the numbers manually. The app beeps every time you press a button to mark an event, and that can get pretty annoying after awhile. The beep isn't so noticeable if you have music playing while you use the app. The major limitation for me is that the time stamps are rounded to whole numbers, so an event at 27.01 seconds is at the same time stamp as an event at 27.99 sec (both at 27), and there is then no way to tell which occurred first.
