I accidentally put that I was of a different age then I am and they made me go through a whole process to fix it including showing my ID and once I did that they basically said my ID is wrong which it isn’t and have now banned me

Get rid of the private cards and actually focus on keeping scammers, bots and underaged accounts off. The people behind these accounts use the privacy protection screen to their advantage to use and manipulate everyone else who just want something honest. Otherwise it’s a decent app.

Decided to purchase the silver or whatever level that isn’t their highest one so that I could actually see my matches. My filters were set to WOMEN ages 30+. Instead I’m getting messages from cis straight men and literal 19 year olds!? I messaged their support about this, and their solution was for me to hide my profile? I joined this app hoping to meet more queer people and it was so disappointing. Canceled my subscription- complete and total waste of money.

I downloaded Taimi thinking this was going to be an app that truly cares about it's LGBT+ users but I was quickly proven wrong. I put down my identity as a trans man and yet I am constantly liked by men who have straight on their profile. It'd be helpful if we could put a preference for bi or pan people but even there this app ignores your preference in age range so I doubt that even if this was 'implemented' that it would even be followed. I have mine set to 18-26 and I consistently get people who liked my profile who are 30+ even one being in their 60s. Start with making it unavailable for straight identifying men to put trans men in their 'I'm into' and maybe this app would improve somewhat.

Taimi used to be very good, but they keep taking features away, the few good features that used to be free are now behind ever more expensive paywalls. You can’t even chat with people you mutual with half the time. Need to block someone? Don’t worry, they will be back in the stack in 5 minutes because Taimi doesn't honor blocks. Great notification preferences… oh you want to actually save those notification preferences? Na, Taimi will reset those in 2-3 days. I’ve been using Taimi since 2019, but it’s time to uninstall, the only updates now are greed and bugs.

You can’t send a message without paying for it! You can’t check any messages that are sent to you without paying for it! When someone sends you a message the face is blurry unless you pay for it! Totally a waste of time! Why would I pay to see a message if I can’t at least see the face?!? Just a rip off!!!!
