Dive Chat

Dive Chat is for making moments happen with the people you spend time with in the real world. Create Dive Events that you can share with a link so that anyone can see the details and RSVP, even without downloading the app! Better yet, share events in your Dive Groups which are perfect for your friend group, fraternity, sorority, student organization, active club, or anyone you make memories with.

• Multiple chats, all under one roof. Dive Groups let you combine different topic-based chats under one umbrella to keep track of your messages and stay organized.

• Events happening in your group stay pinned to the top, right alongside your chats, so nobody misses them.

• Find every photo, video, poll, link, and form that has been sent in the group inside the gallery.

• Within your Dive Group, chats are dedicated to topics where you talk with friends, plan the next hangout, and send polls, photos, videos, and GIFs.

• Chats can be public, private, or for announcements-only where only admins can send messages. Everyone in the group can create a new chat, but only admins can automatically add everyone.

→ Dive Events

• Create an event with all the details and collect RSVPs from the people you invite.

• Even friends without the Dive Chat app can RSVP and stay up to date by receiving SMS updates.

• Share events with a link or directly to your Instagram Story, Snapchat Story, and Dive Groups.

• Create graphic event covers with templates and effects. 

→ Spam React & Commenting

• Really like a message? Wanna clown your friend? React to messages with any emoji you want. Them spam the reaction to show how you REALLY feel.

• Comment on messages so that only the person who sent the original message and other commenters get notified.

• Add a bio and all your socials (Instagram, TikTok, Twitter, Spotify, Snap, and Venmo)!

• Set a nickname for each chat you’re in! Go crazy, go stupid.

• Request verification for a Dive Group you’re in to show off your affiliation on your profile.

• Invite your friends or org members to your groups by sharing the link, scanning a QR code, or adding them from your contacts.

• Not every group on Dive Chat needs multiple chats — create the classic group chat you know and love with the built in fun of events, Spam React, commenting, nicknames and more!

• Direct message people from your groups or your contacts.
