VERY beneficial if you’re responsible!
I read a few reviews after coming here to post mine. I wanted to see if I shared any similar experiences. After having Sezzle for 6 months my limit increased to $2,700. I will say, I’ve NEVER been late on a single payment. While this is all amazing, this wasn’t my reason for trying Sezzle. I was more so interested in building my credit. I wasn’t sure how or why but my credit score has skyrocketed!!! I finally looked into the situation and sure enough! Sezzle was responsible for the increase of my credit score. I’m still in disbelief and it just feels too good to be true. I’m just going to stick with it, continue make all of my payments on time EVERY time and see where this thing goes.

I pay for the Anywhere then my spending limit drops $450! Not providing an adequate explanation to your customers is unacceptable and you will have to provide it to the BBB! The BBB will not accept “it’s the computer and we can’t do anything”. My credit score has also taken a hit because I was over the spending limit, not due to bad spending habits, but due to the slash in spending power!

I’d been using Sezzle for over a year, never missed a payment, and my limit was up around $2000. A month ago I signed up for Sezzle anywhere, and started using it even more. A few days before it was time to renew, I noticed it said I had 0 spending power. For some reason, my limit had been slashed down to 600. I reached out to customer service and they just fed me the same unhelpful information that’s on their website, refusing to acknowledge that those circumstances didn’t fit my case. Since then, it has been further reduced down to $450. Again, I had NEVER missed a payment. Avoid at all costs. They’ll charge you $20 a month, then slash your limit down to whatever you owe so you cant actually use your membership

Concerning the reply to my review: You basically said what I just said in my review. I already know I can buy from “premium” stores and buy gift cards IF I pay monthly to access them, but I can do that COMPLETELY free on other apps. Therefore, like I said, there’s no good reason to use Sezzle (unless you messed up on the free apps and Sezzle is your only choice left) because I have to pay to get “perks”. I can log onto my Afterpay and just buy a DoorDash gift card WITHOUT paying Afterpay every month to do so. The only thing I had to do to have access to do so was make my payments on time. There’s no need for me email for a follow up or anything because you literally just explained to me what I already expressed in my review, but thanks for replying. So, I downloaded this app because it had a good rating. I’m familiar with other pay-in-4 apps and I use them, sometimes. I figured, let me see what this one is about. First off, unlike ALL of the other apps that you can use for free, you have to pay a MONTHLY or YEARLY subscription to actually get much use out of this. It has some places you can shop from for free, but the most desirable ones (of course) are locked behind the subscription. Now, tell me, why in the world would I pay monthly… to access being able to buy something? This app isn’t Costco. And I’m not seeing any “benefit” to the subscription. At least, with Costco, I get some cheaper food, content sales, but what’s the added benefit here over any other pay-in-4 app? Do they give you a discount? Anyway, after seeing I have to pay $13 a month or $90 a year, I decided I’ll stick with Afterpay.

I like the fact that Sezzle now has Sezzle anywhere, which makes it very convenient as a pay option. However, when you are granted a higher credit limit, and you utilize it, you get penalized and then they decrease your limit, even though you’re making your payments on time.

I joined Sezzle almost 5 years ago not long after it was born. Day and Night between then and now. Service was phenomenal with the occasional growing pains. Fast forward to the present. Lowered spending limits, reduced number of orders to be placed with merchants. If a customer is loyal and responsible with Sezzle for 5 years, why lower spending limit and restrict number of orders one can place. Premium service is no different. One pays only to be confronted with the same barriers. Sezzle listen to your customers whether they have been with you for years or just joined. Your merger with Zip failed perhaps because of the many issues customers face with your service. APPLE PAY LATER is now being offer on a limited basis but what will you do when the flood gates open to all Apple Wallet Users? I for one am anxiously waiting for that day to arrive when I will be able to take advantage of Apple Pay Later and will be more than happy to only utilize APPLE for all my buy now pay later. Sezzle your not looking at the bigger picture with APPLE, APPLE PAY LATER users who develop and maintain impeccable payment history will surely later be pre approved for the APPLE CARD as a reward for loyalty.
