I love that I can get money back for what I already have to buy anyway. All I have to do is make my shopping list on this app and I get the cash back! It’s a win for sure!!

I don’t write reviews but the fact I couldn’t withdraw my money is upsetting. I used receipts to add the items I’d already bought but when trying to deposit my rewards, I had to verify an email that was never sent. I resent it multiple times and nothing. Then they deducted $3.99 from my account for “maintenance fees” so I just deleted the whole account. I received That email but still never got the email that would’ve allowed me to actually deposit any money into my bank. Seems like a scam

It says my lifetime earnings is $38.08. I’m not a big shopper of processed foods and it took me a while to rack that amount up but the threshold to withdraw is only $20. I had enough to withdraw but haven’t shopped for the types of products Ibotta promotes and forgot about the app. Unfortunately an email popped up that they were taking $3.99 in maintenance fees. I opened my app to find out they had confiscated this amount 6 times since I started my account. Now my balance is $10.15. It sure took a lot longer for me to earn it than it did for them to take it! This is another way for them to keep your balance below the withdrawal threshold and never pay you a dime for the work you did. I think it is a crime that they can steal my hard earned money. This is so wrong! If I can quickly earn enough to meet the withdrawal threshold, I will but either way, I will probably delete this App after I do. It was a total waste of my time. Plus to top it off, I have other similar apps on my phone that are much easier to use! The other ones are a snap and go compared to Ibotta’s, where you gotta pick out every item on your receipt to get credit. Do yourself a favor and pick an easier App that doesn’t steal the money that you’ve earned back from you. Really…how much maintenance is there to justify taking $3.99 a month for inactivity?

I was noticing today at Walmart almost every item in the grocery store had been marked up since I was in the store about 4 days ago. I hope Ibotta is planning to be around for a long time. Thank you! Several times now I have made purchases from websites thru Ibotta and get no credit. I click “shop” thru the app to go to sites like Amazon and when I make purchases and hit the X it doesn’t even register that I made a purchase. I have now made over 2k worth of purchases including hotels and Amazon that have not registered with the app to get any cash back.
