Spam notifications and scam listings

I counted a total of 15 notifications on “Black Friday”. That’s way too many. Calm. Down. The deals aren’t even deals. The prices are all marked up higher than they’ve been all year a few weeks before and then dropped to barely where they were earlier. Highly misleading. Search rarely turns up authentic products. Sellers pose as brand sellers but the product comes in an unmarked box and is clearly a knockoff. Half the listings are names like ‘HICOTEKI High Quality Male Best Cool Power Band Safety Trust Rated Electric Charger Cable’. Out of an entire page of results, you will get 5 Amazon brands, 3 real brands, and the other 20+ are Chinese knockoffs. Prime shipping means nothing anymore. The delivery date you see before ordering and the delivery date you see when you finish paying are never the same. What is Amazon even anymore? What happened?

First, let me say we love Amazon. What an awesome way to shop. It isn’t without flaw, but overall it works great for our needs. Our complaint is with items sold by and shipped from Amazon. Although this is not the first time, today we received a box of cereal that was crushed. It was shipped in a plastic bag. Yes, it was only a box of cereal and didn’t change the flavor or dining experience. The issue is that this is not the only time we / or others have received crushed merchandise as a result of poor shipping package choices. This is embarrassing when we decide to ship a gift or general merchandise directly to friends and/or family. Yes, I could return the product. But why should I be inconvenienced for poor trading, poor monitoring and poor choices. We expect more from Amazon. Yes, we will still shop via Amazon.

Ugh. Worse than website by a lot

So frustrating. It loves to pigeonhole you. No obvious way to “go back”. Kind of laggy. Modifying searches is a pain. Really, I just as soon use their website.

What’s the point of Prime

Packages always arrive late no longer two day shipping, mostly all cheap Chinese products not quality. It’s become a American Aliexpress. Hugely Disappointed.

Refused to honor their price match agreement

I was told by a Amazon customer service rep that they'd price match my RING Doorbell purchase for Cyber Monday since I'd bought it only 2 days prior to it going on sale for 41% off. When I contacted them after receiving the item they refused. I was a loyal Prime member for YEARS but I'm done with their lies and greed. I'm canceling my membership and returning all my recent purchases including the PlayStation 5 I've been waiting 2 years to get. $1000 in refunded recent purchases because they refused to price match $90. Not to mention $1000s in future purchases we would have made. Usernames of the "customer service" reps that refused to honor the agreement: HARIKRISHAN SUSHMITHA 6:49PM November 30th 2022 Orginal conversation: "We work hard to find the best prices out there and make sure our prices are as low or lower changing our prices instantly if we find a lower offer somewhere else. However only for you as a onetime exception once the item gets delivered Please contact us back and we will issue the price difference"
