I don’t like that they use a business tactic that consists of making you answer a bunch of questions and then telling you at the very end that the product/service has to be payed for.

I hate that the introductory questionnaire asks who your role model is and only has a bias list of people to choose from. You can not skip the question. I deleted the app. There is only one person of color and all the choices are wealthy people who invest in things that are harmful to the environment and show little regard for the greater good. They have nothing to do with words or reading.

I havent used this app in a few years. But opened it up to look at some saved words to find all my data gone and now being force to pay to use. This is poor.

Was $50 had access to all types of word packs, 4 words a day. Now it’s one word and you have to pay for everything. 1/10 would not do again. I have asked for a refund for the remaining months since I’m only 3 months in and what I agreed to pay for and what I have access to now are drastically different. Will update if they refund.

Every time this app tried to update itself it fails miserably and it makes everyone else’s lives more difficult. This most recent update has made it so that every single time I go into the app, I have “missed” the time for the word of the day and I am forced to watch an AD. I’m sick and tired of watch a 1 minute long ad every time I want to quickly learn a new word and it genuinely makes me not want to hold onto my streak. Thanks for letting yet another app get ruined for profit.
