A reference application for Periodic Table in Chemistry. - No network connection needed. - Easy to zoom in and out periodic table with two fingers - Show details description and history about certain element - Show many physical properties of an element such as oxidation states, density, electron configuration, thermal conductivity and more. - A tool help all students memorize the elements - A important reference for any student who studies chemistry. - A important referenece for anyone in chemistry field. - Easy and simple to use. New: It comes with the history of each element
Simple Table
It's a simple periodic table. Tap on an element will give you detail information on it.
Not too bad
Wish there was electron ring diagrams (maybe you could put in update) and when you press Hassium nothing happens and when you press element 118 it shows the stats for hassium
Its an ok app
Its a decent table and i would have liked it if it had the number of electrons on each ring for the elements
It just went blank
It was working pretty decent and then it turns blank. I regret buying it I found one similar to it for free.
Most Useful
While this periodic table lacks the bling of some of the other periodic table, it is the only one that provides quick reference to the most commonly used items on the table. This makes it by far the most useful one available for quickly referencing molar masses. In addition to the general table, that can be pinched to zoom, press and hold gives access to more general info. My only problem with the table is that is is little more than a scanned image of someone else's table. This causes pixelation at high zoom and should be replaced with a vector version, but more seriously I question whether the developer actually has permission to use the image.
DO NOT GET THIS!!!
20 GIANT THUMBS DOWN INTO THE GROUND!!! IF YOU ARE READING THIS REVIEW WHATEVED YOU DO KUST DO NOT BUY THIS APP!!! TRUST ME, there's just too many bugs to even list in this app it is so bad!!! Because of this app I failed my Earth Science Final!!!
Decent reference, could be better
This periodic table app seems serviceable enough. Overall, a good alternative to the back cover or your high school chemistry textbook. Characteristics provided for each element are plentiful, but the "What is...?" blurb is underdeveloped. The one for silver, for example, could talk about it's naturally occurring isotopes being nearly equally abundant. The attempt to list practical applications of the elements is good, but falls short. Osmium, for example, has none listed, though it is the densest element and is often found in fountain pen nibs and routinely used as a contrast agent for electron microscopy. There is a prettier periodic table app out there, with photos of the elements, but it doesn't have nearly as many useful physical characteristics.
