I understand you guys are introducing ai sometime in the future. My concern is the traffic control. Google and Apple maps has the power to control and whole city’s traffic. I work in st. Pete and love in Tampa. My Google maps always take me thru the main road like it’s the fastest way to get home, but it’s not. I can take neighborhoods to get home way faster. My usual route time is 1 hour to get home. I can cut that short by 30 mins getting off Tampa congested interstate and go thru neighborhoods. My is this not a feature on any map platform. Why are you guys sending all traffic the same way. Why not control traffic to help people reach their destinations faster. Google maps could help a lot with traffic congestion. At this point if you guys at Google don’t do it I’ll just have to create my own maps app. Its a huge selling point and honestly sad to know someone hasn’t even thought about it. Instead of having traffic going the same way. Spread it out. I understand I can’t help bridge traffic. There’s no exits but city traffic can be improved by miles and you can have everyone with the ability to go a different way thru a neighborhood instead of the main roads with lights and putting my in a dangerous situation because Tampa is know for phantom traffic. Everyone drives to close and honestly I’m concerned more with my life in traffic then anything else.

When I save a location, I want to manually select which list I want to save to. Having it automatically selected means I have to deselect and then select the list I actually want. This is one of the worst parts of YouTube UI and it is unfortunate to see it in the Google Maps app as well.
