SubShifter is meant to be an incredibly simple app. Shift or Sync your subtitles files in seconds, that's it. Don't be bored by the useless complexity of other apps. • Support SRT files (more to come, free updates) • Instant Shift of your subtitles • Instant Sync of your subtitles: fix subtitles whose shift increases/decreases progressively during the movie (drifting subtitles, with optional extrapolation to the whole file) • Compatible with Dark Mode • Compatible with the TouchBar • No data collection: everything happens locally on your device. Privacy is important. Enjoy! --------- Note: The free version allows you to save up to 30 minutes of synced/shifted subtitles. It is possible to have an unlimited access with the premium version of SubShifter. Premium version can be obtained in app either via a lifetime licence, a monthly subscription, or a yearly subscription. This also supports my work and all the free updates with new features to come. Annoying Messages
Keeps asking me to review app after I made purchase.
New update works like a charm
Finally a superior alternative to the clunky and quixotic Subtitle Studio. The interface is much simpler and more intuitive than most other subtitle apps I have used. Great job, Subshifter team!

Finally a real 64-bit alternative to SubFix app
I use the SubFix app for years and love its simplicity. Unfortunately, the developer seemed to have disappeared and hadn’t updated SubFix to 64-bit version as required for running in Mojave/Catalina environment. I tried many different alternatives, and many of them were so bad, complicated, or useless. I considered buying an older secondhand MacBook with High Sierra just for the SubFix app. I came across this SubShifter app and gave it a try. I am so happy that SubShifter is so similar to SubFix and more! I am able to sync the subtitles at two points without fuss. Thanks so much for this app! I will let my deaf and hearing friends know about this great 64-bit alternative to SubFix. The only feature improvement would be the ability to manually type in the line number, especially at the end of film, prior to syncing. That would save the hassle of scrolling all the way down to the last dialogue. Thanks!
