Good
But It Needs Updating
Five years, no update or bug fix.
The extensibility shortcut (to use MacCurve via Photos app) has been made very difficult to use due to a bug that causes the lower third of the interface to be cut off and inaccessible on all iPhone screen sizes. This also causes filter masks to appear misaligned. The only way I can access the rest of the interface is by going into the MaxCurve app itself, which has a much les user-friendly interface for opening, editing, and saving modifications to photos.
App is broken (2023)
App appears to be broken now, doesn't work at all. Support link also doesn't work. Is this app not being maintained anymore?

A Technical Photography Tool!
MaxCurve is amazing app, it offers a rich set of features, if only it could be kept up to date with trends. The robust set of editing capabilities are now lagging behind with no options for local masking or defining own mask areas, amongst many others. I’ve loved it for some of my edits when I needed some finesse on color optimization. I hope the developer can take time to bring it up to date… including UI updates and support for some of the new camera APIs.
Sleeper
I’ve had MaxCurve on my iPhone for quite some time but didn’t use it. Noticed that the native phone editor can link to Max. Gave it a try and was blown away by the functionality of Max. I’ve been a diehard Snapseed user for my editing, mobile as well as my Sony. To my surprise MAX allows me to edit well beyond what I’ve been doing. Outstanding App!!
Abandonware Blues
Never updated so no longer fits the screen when invoked from the adjustments page of the normal photo viewer app.
