Thank you to everyone in the Periscope community for sharing the world through your eyes these past five years. We’re so grateful to all of you who put your heart and soul into making Periscope the place to show what’s happening in your world, creating vibrant communities and making the app what it was. The Periscope mobile app will be discontinued on March 31, 2021, but live video will live on as an important part of the conversation on Twitter. Until then, you can: • Instantly share your live videos to Twitter and other social networks. • Download your broadcasts on periscope.tv • Give and receive Super Hearts to support your favorite broadcasters before March 31, 2021. Periscope users will be able to move to Twitter and broadcast using Twitter Live. Additionally, Brands, publishers and creators can go live on Twitter by using the Twitter Media Studio. People will also still be able to create broadcasts programmatically through the Periscope public API, which will also be migrating to the Twitter API in 2021.

Rip periscope 🪦
Too much censorship
I’m proud to hear this app is collapsing. You had to too much censorship.
trash app
glad they’re taking this garbage down
Excellent!
Having Periscope has been an invaluable experience for me. The app is fairly easy to negotiate and I enjoyed the format in which videos are played/ streamed. Thank you!!
How do I sign up
I’m having trouble getting in the app it doesn’t have a sign up to get in why don’t it have that
Child Porn Rampant on Periscope
Periscope does not monitor its broadcasts. Child porn and sex trafficking is widespread on the application and it doesn’t do any good to report it. Bullying and stalking is a major problem on Periscope too. I have seen people commit suicide while live. Another major problem is drug use while broadcasting. There’s thousands of people on the application using illegal drugs. Periscope is disturbing.
Where are my recent videos to access?
Love this app, but since March 11, two live Periscope videos I’ve made have an exclamation point followed by the message, “This broadcast is no longer available.” Why can’t I access these videos whenever I try to click them? I never deleted the videos, but Periscope archived them in my broadcast list and they are shaded white with a check mark. Frustrating because this is a GREAT app otherwise!
