Unfortunately there’s no zero star rating so 1 star will have to suffice
The app crashes every single time I try to open it rendering it completely useless. While I’m an older version (because I don’t have Wi-Fi and can’t update it right now) one basic tenet of of software development of customer facing experiences is you make sure older versions of an app don’t regress unless explicitly deprecating support of that version. Then you graceful handle that with modal in the app telling them to upgrade. I guess these devs/management chain are more into listening to articles than app life cycle management and the customer experience.
Great content, great voice talent
I am greatly concerned over the demise of Audm. I’ve really enjoyed it while it lasted for the range and quality of the publications and articles and for the many very fine voice actors who read them. As I browse the NYT Audio app, it appears that many of both are missing and will not be available there. I can find no definitive information about this, but it seems many of the publications available on Audm may be unwilling to have their content distributed under the NYT banner. ☹️
Hate to see AUDM go
I had low vision when I started using AUDM and am now legally blind. I really appreciate the uncluttered, simple interface. I have no trouble navigated. NYTimes Audio is not really very accessible for the visually impaired. It is too busy and cluttered. I have a hayride time finding anything. Maybe they will design a lo vision interface.
Keep crashing
2019/1/18 The app completely crashed! Couldn’t play, couldn’t download for later. What happened to the app? It keep crashing which make me impossible to play the article. The contents are excellent but the team really needs to keep up the work on this app. It took forever to load the program. When it works, it played a short time then stopped. Sometimes it’s just disappeared from my screen all in sudden. 2023/6/24 very sad this app is going to be closed . The new app nyt audio only has the audio but not the article. I like to read the article when someone read it through. Can nyt has reinstall this original function?
Don’t take away my favorite app please!
At least consider leaving it as is. Thank you
Yes!
I’ve been wanting someone to read an actual newspaper to me forever.

Please don’t take it away!
