Where’s my family
It’s a great form of maps.
I don’t know if this is a Google problem, Safari problem, or a Google maps app problem. BUT, I have to physically open the app, and type in the address if I want to use Google maps from a Google search. FRUSTRATING! I used to look up a place using Google on my iPhone, and press the link for Directions, it would ask if I wanted to open the map app. I’d click yes and the app would open with the address and directions. NOW, when I click the “Yes” button, it sends me to the App Store. It doesn’t matter if I’m signed into Google or not, I go to the App Store. 😡
Never have I hated an app update like I hate this one
For years this app has been a mainstay. It is a major reason why I stay in the Google ecosystem. I used it daily. Problem is, my main transportation is my bike and the “update” to integrate Tier and biking directions is too broken to use. The whole idea is annoying - the reason I don’t rent bikes and scooters through Google maps is not because I don’t know I can. I saw that in the directions options years ago Worst, the integration messed up actual navigation. The open Tier app button is where the start used to be - messing me up when I need to be quick at an intersection. Google bike directions were never great - they like unnecessary detours and car-choked roads. They did provide enough of a thought guide that I could follow and adjust as needed. Now the app doesn’t update the directions as I change my location. It just keeps on as if I am half a mile away. It also doesn’t update ETA. That is too unhelpful to be worth it.
Link not available
Whenever I click on directions to a place on Google it’ll always consistently say the link isn’t available on anything
our guide was kind and great👍🏽
