The official app for Divvy, Chicago’s bike share system. Divvy consists of a fleet of specially designed, sturdy and durable bikes that are locked into a network of docking stations throughout the city. Our bikes can be unlocked from one station and returned to any other station in the system, making them ideal for one-way trips. Bikeshare is a greener, healthier way to get around — whether you’re commuting, running errands, meeting friends, or exploring in a new city. The Divvy App gives you access to thousands of bikes in your area — unlock and pay directly from the app and get going. The Divvy App also shows upcoming public transit departures, including CTA ‘L’ train lines, local & express buses, shuttle buses, the Jeffery Jump Bus, Metra trains, PACE buses and the South Shore Line train. Within the app, you can purchase the following Divvy passes: Single Ride Access pass Membership Happy riding!
Pathetic people
I started a ride, then within 15mn I purchased a day pass on the same app. The "ride progress" screen immediately said "Day Pass Applied". I bike for a few more hours and I get charged.. $100 at the end of the ride. I reached out to customer support and "Keyner" pretends not to understand me, and keeps repeating "the day pass was purchased after the ride started and is not applied." Kept playing dumb and ignoring my point about the "Day Pass Applied" until they disconnected the conversation. I'm initiating a dispute through my credit card company. Beware.
Scam
It's a scam, please do not use it just get your own bike. Charged me $60 randomly for no reason
poor customer servive
poor customer service and more expensive than advertised
Will shut down your rental in the middle of traffic!
They way they restrict use in certain areas is dangerous! So they won’t let you use the scooters on sidewalks and also in pedestrian heavy areas of parks; completely understandable. However, I was riding on the road NEXT to an area you’re not supposed to ride and it shut down the scooter WHILE I WAS IN THE ROAD. With cars behind me!! I cannot recommend anyone use this service if you don’t want to lose power to your rental in the middle of traffic.
DO NOT BUY
i rented a scooter in the city with my friends and i now have random charges that i wasnt aware of. scammed me and my money. same thing happened to both of my friends.
No Customer Service
I use Divvy to commute to work in downtown Chicago. It was great until it wasn’t. I had my Divvy bike stolen from me as I was waiting for a dock to become available. There was not one available at the station I was at, nor the next closest station. During the time the bike was stolen, I received little assistance from customer service. They suggested I try to locate the perpetrator myself to avoid large fees. In downtown Chicago, it would be extremely difficult to locate a stolen bike on foot. Thankfully, they returned it to a dock the next day. Not only did I get little assistance, but Divvy charged me for the full time the bike was stolen.
Do not use. Huge security risk
Mastercard is refusing to allow me to use this service and says it is a security concern. Tried contacting DIVVY and they were super cagey about it. Expecting a “sorry we got hacked and all your payment and personal data has been compromised” at any moment.
